A Golden Rose for Gianluca

Roseto. Una Rosa d’Oro a Gianluca Ginoble per aver dato prestigio e lustro alla città di Roseto grazie al suo grande talento canoro. Il riconoscimento è stato consegnato in occasione della serata di arte, musica e cultura che si è svolta sabato 25 febbraio al palazzo del Mare. Il giovanissimo cantante de “Il Volo”, in una pausa del tour mondiale, ha ricevuto il prestigioso simbolo della città di Roseto dalle mani dell’assessore alla Cultura Maristella Urbini e dal vicesindaco Alfonso Montese.

Applausi calorosissimi hanno accompagnato il momento carico di emozione: “Il premio a Gianluca Ginoble vuole essere un mezzo per valorizzare i giovani talenti del nostro territorio - ha detto l’assessore Urbini - Gianluca è un ragazzo semplice che ama la musica e che proprio grazie alla musica è riuscito a vivere un bellissimo sogno.

All’evento di presentazione del romanzo di Marcello Perpetuini L’Amore Perfetto, organizzato con il patrocinio del Comune di Roseto e della Provincia di Teramo, sono intervenuti come ospiti anche la violinista emergente Virginia Galliani e lo scultore Daniele Guerrieri. Il Volo To Release Live Album

The first-ever live Il Volo CD and DVD was recorded at the Detroit Opera House.

‘Il Volo Takes Flight – Live From The Detroit Opera House’ was filmed last year when Il Volo was on their first American tour.

The album includes their version of the Charlie Chaplin classic ‘Smile’.

Il Volo is 18 year old Piero Barone, 17 year old Ignazio Borschetto and 16 year old Gianuca Ginoble. They are dubbed the Teenage Tenors.

Worldwide sales of their debut album reached more than 1,000,000. They have appeared on Ellen, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Today Show and here at noise11.com.

PBS Special Scheduled in Major Markets Across the US Beginning March 3rd

NEW YORK, Jan. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Italian singing sensations Il Volo soar in their first PBS Special "Il Volo Takes Flight" as well as on their upcoming CD and DVD, "Il Volo Takes Flight - Live From The Detroit Opera House," which is scheduled to be released on Feb. 28th on Geffen Records. Il Volo Takes Flight - Live From the Detroit Opera House was filmed last year while the group was on their first North American concert tour and captures the genuine excitement of their live performance, the stunning crowd reaction and the many standing ovations the group has received in every city they have performed. The show includes Italian classics such as "O Sole Mio" and "Un Amore Cosi Grande" as well as a magnificent version of the classic Charlie Chaplin song "Smile." The Live DVD includes a bonus documentary.

Il Volo Takes Flight Live in February

Il Volo has announced the release of their latest album, Il Volo Takes Flight – Live From The Detroit Opera House, which will be out February 28 via Geffen Records.

The new live Il Volo Takes Flight CD/DVD combo will feature the PBS special performance of the group’s North American tour, which originally aired back in December. Due to overwhelming success, it will air again in March 2012, as part of the PBS Fundraising Drive.

The new CD from Il Volo, the Italian trio of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble, will feature 15 live tracks inclucing Italian classics like “O Sole Mio,” “Un Amore Cosi Grande,” and Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile.”

The Take Flight DVD also features a host of bonus material including a documentary with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.
